Destroy road crackers · Plant on roadside soil
He is already walking
Clean Earth
Grandfather walks the road home — slowly, stick first. Destroy leftover crackers before he reaches them. Plant trees on the roadside soil, not the concrete. If the smoke stays, he coughs. If his breath runs out, he can’t finish.
If this stayed with you
Don’t keep it.
Grandparents still walk with sticks through mornings we choke with crackers — step by step, cough by cough. Destroy the leftover noise. Plant on the roadside, where earth still lives. Diwali is light — not a walk they can’t finish. If that lands, share it.
